Privacy and removal
This covers the gencast.app early-access list and nothing else. It is short because we keep very little.
What we store
When you ask for early access, we store four things:
- Your email address, trimmed and lowercased.
- The time of your consent: when you ticked the box and sent the form.
- The source: the utm_source tag on the link that brought you here, or "direct" if there was none.
- The form version, so we know which version of the form you saw.
Nothing else. No name, no location, no device details.
Why
To tell you when early access opens. That is the only reason we keep your email.
Who sees it
Your email is never sold or shared. Nothing is emailed to you until early access opens.
How long we keep it
We keep it until early access opens or until you remove it, whichever comes first.
Abuse protection
To stop automated sign-ups, we count requests from each network over one hour. Your IP address is used only for that anti-abuse counter. It is stored as a keyed hash, never as the address itself, and never with your email. The counter deletes itself within two hours.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, pixels or tracking of any kind.
Remove your email
Enter the email you signed up with. If it is on the list, we delete it straight away. You will get the same answer either way.
